The Zion Prayer Hall Church Church Management System
Effective date: 4 September 2026
1. Overview
The Zion Prayer Hall Church uses this application to administer church activities, member records, ministries, events, pastoral care, prayer requests, Sunday School operations, communications, and authorized user accounts. This policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the application, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, profile photograph, address, family and church membership information, dates relevant to church administration, ministry or class participation, attendance, event registration, prayer requests, pastoral-care records, and account activity.
3. Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides basic account information needed to authenticate you, such as your name, email address, profile image, and a unique account identifier. We do not receive your Google password. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendar through the sign-in process.
4. How information is used
Information is used to provide secure account access, maintain church and family directories, coordinate ministries and classes, manage attendance and events, respond to prayer and care requests, communicate with members, prevent misuse, and maintain operational and audit records.
5. Storage and service providers
The application uses service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage, and hosting or email-delivery providers where configured. These providers process information only as needed to operate the application and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be available to authorized church administrators, staff, ministry leaders, teachers, or data-entry users according to their assigned responsibilities. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect people, the church, or the application.
7. Security and retention
We use role-based access, authenticated sessions, database access controls, and audit records to protect information. Information is retained while it is needed for church administration, legal obligations, security, or legitimate record-keeping, after which it may be deleted or anonymized.
8. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting the church. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate administrative, safeguarding, security, or legal purposes. You may stop using Google sign-in and revoke the application’s Google access from your Google Account settings.
9. Children’s information
Sunday School information is entered and managed by authorized adults for church administration and safeguarding. Children should not create or manage application accounts without appropriate parent, guardian, or church authorization.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the application or our practices change. For privacy questions or requests, email zionprayerhallchurch@gmail.com or use the public contact page.
